LFT-G® PA6 LCF40 is a revolutionary material that combines 40%long carbon fiber with PA6 polyamide resin that high performance, versatility, and cost-effectiveness. PA6 LCF40 exhibits remarkable tensile strength (up to 265 MPa) and flexural modulus (20,000 MPa), making it ideal for load-bearing applications. The long carbon fibers distribute stress more evenly, reducing the risk of material failure.With a notched Izod impact strength of 350 J/m, PA6 LCF40 outperforms many traditional materials, including metals and short fiber composites. This property is particularly valuable in automotive and industrial applications where impact resistance is critical.
Compatible with injection molding and compression molding processes, the material allows complex geometries unachievable with metals. The flow-induced fiber orientation can be strategically engineered to reinforce high-stress areas.
