LFT-G® LGF40 PA6 GF40 Nylon6 Compound

What is PA6 LCF30?

LFT-G® PA6 LCF30 is a blend fiber reinforced Nylon6 composite of PA6 polymer with long carbon fibers of 30% weight. The long carbon fibers used in this compound range from 6-20mm in length, making it a highly reinforced material. PA6 LCF30 Compound is known for its exceptional stiffness and strength, making it ideal for high-performance applications such as automotive, aerospace, and sports equipment.

Key Properties of PA6 LCF30

  • Great Strength to Weight Ratio

PA6 LCF30 imparts exceptional strength to the finished product, while the carbon fibers make it incredibly lightweight. This translates to a high strength-to-weight ratio, reducing the weight of the final product while also improving its strength and durability. The high stiffness of this compound makes it resilient to deformation, even under extreme loads.

  • Improved Resistance to Wear and Tear

The addition of long carbon fibers in PA6 LCF30 provides an increased level of abrasion resistance, making it ideal for applications that undergo heavy wear and tear. It also improves resistance to impact and crack propagation, making it an ideal material for parts that operate under demanding conditions.

  • High-Temperature Resistance: PA6 LCF30 compound can withstand high temperatures up to 170°C (338°F) without losing its mechanical properties. It is commonly used in automotive and aerospace applications because of its ability to resist high temperatures.
