Engineering Material PPA LFT for Automobile Machinery Field

PPA has higher thermal stability than PA46, better CTI arc resistance and infrared reflow capability. PPA has excellent resistance to various oils such as gasoline, diesel, engine oil, mineral oil and transformer oil, even at 150 °C. PPA is suitable for long-term outdoor use without causing a decrease in physical properties even under extreme climatic conditions such as high ultraviolet radiation, high humidity, and high temperature. The accelerated weathering test shows that the tensile strength and impact strength of 30% and 50% glass fiber reinforced polyphthalamide can be maintained above 60% and 80%, respectively, and the aroma of PPA is high. The ring structure allows it to be more resistant to more chemicals even at high temperatures.

Long glass fiber reinforced thermoplastics is significantly higher in mechanical performance, electrical performance and thermal performance than short glass fiber reinforced material. This is mainly due to the short fiber is mixed along the flow direction, and long staple fiber, less populated performance is good, long fiber blend in entangled, filling mould flip, and bend, make its all aspects of performance are higher than short fibers.Therefore,the long fiber mixed molded article has a higher homogeneity, more straightness and a smaller yield than the molded article mixed with the staple fibersFiber length is the most important factor in fiber reinforced composites, and long fiber has more obvious enhancement effect than short fiber.
