What is PA66 LGF50?
LFT-G® PA66 LGF50 material is a nylon 66 (polyamide 66) composite reinforced with 50% long glass fibers, which enhances its mechanical properties, such as strength, stiffness, and impact resistance, while maintaining excellent chemical and thermal resistance.
The advantages of LFT PA66 Material
- 1. After the enhancement of long glass fiber, the glass fiber is a high temperature resistant material, therefore, the heat resistance temperature of LFT reinforced plastics is much higher than that before without adding glass fiber, especially LFT nylon plastics;
- 2. After the long glass fiber reinforced, due to the addition of glass fiber, limiting the plastic polymer chain movement between each other, therefore, the shrinkage of LFT PA66 reinforced plastics decreased a lot, and the rigidity is greatly improved;
- 3. After filling long glass fiber, LFT PA66 LGF reinforced plastics will not stress cracking, at the same time, the impact resistance of the plastic improves a lot;
- 4. Filled with long glass fiber, glass fiber is a high-strength material, which also greatly improved the strength of LFT composite plastics, such as: tensile strength, compression strength, bending strength, improve a lot;
- 5. After the long glass fiber reinforced, due to the glass fiber and other flame retardant additives, LFT PA66 reinforced plastic combustion performance decreased a lot, most of the material can not be ignited, it is a kind of flame retardant material.
