Long carbon fiber PPS granules
long Carbon fiber pellets having improved flow characteristics are prepared by mixing chopped or milled carbon fibers with a solution or suspension of a sizing agent, shaping the agglomerated mixture on a tilted rotating surface to provide dense pellets of streamlined shape and drying the pellets. The carbon fiber pellets are especially suitable for use in the manufacture of reinforced thermoplastic pps resins.
