Product Details
PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide ) is an organic polymer consisting of aromatic rings linked with sulfides.
They can offer the broadest resistance to chemicals of any high performance plastic. They have no known solvents below 392°F and are inert to steam, strong bases, fuels and acids. Minimal moisture absorption and a very low coefficient of linear thermal expansion along with stress-relieving processes make these PPS products ideally suited for precise-tolerance machined components.
In addition, PPS products exhibit excellent electrical characteristics and are inherently flame retardant.
So it is ideally suited for plastic components in automotive, electrical, appliance and industrial applications.
LFRT、LFT-G Advantage
In addition to the properties of thermoplastics, LFT combines long carbon fibers to produce better mechanical and mechanical properties as well as mechanical properties. Its characteristics are as follows:
● Low density, high strength. The LFT has a density of 1.1 to 1.6 g / cm3, which is only 1/5 to 1/7 of steel, 1/4 to 1/3 lighter than SMC, and it can obtain high mechanical strength with a small unit mass.
● Design freedom can be large. The physical, chemical and mechanical properties of LFT can be designed by rational selection of the type, ratio, processing method and fiber content of the raw materials. Since thermoplastic composites have more matrix materials than thermoset composites, the freedom of material selection is greater.
● Chemical resistance. This property is primarily determined by the nature of the matrix material. There are many types of thermoplastic resins, each of which has its own anti-corrosion properties. Therefore, the matrix resin can be preferably selected depending on the use environment and medium conditions of the LFT.
● Waste can be recycled. The LFT can be reformed and waste and corner materials can be recycled without environmental pollution.
● High flexibility, impact resistance, damage resistance and damping properties.
