PBT LCF Advantage
Long carbon fiber reinforced PBT is prepared by pultrusion process technology. Unlike conventional staple fiber reinforcements, PBT-LCF parts have longer fibers and they are intertwined to form a fiber skeleton that limits anisotropic shrinkage and significantly reduces warpage. Its fibers are typically 6-25 mm in length. The mechanical properties of this composite make it useful for a wide range of applications in a variety of market segments, as a lightweight alternative to metals or as an engineering alternative to other materials.
